The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced the latest fuel prices, effective 19 June 2026, with diesel and petrol blend prices remaining relatively stable as government measures continue to cushion consumers from global market fluctuations.
According to the latest pricing schedule, diesel (50) will retail at ZWG53.26 per litre and US$1.99 per litre, while Blend E20 petrol has been set at ZWG53.00 per litre and US$1.98 per litre.
ZERA said the prices will be in effect for a two-week period beginning 19 June 2026. The authority noted that government interventions continue to play a critical role in protecting consumers from the impact of global geopolitical developments, which often influence international fuel prices.
The regulator also reminded fuel operators and the public that the approved blending ratio remains E20. However, operators may sell petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages, provided that fuel prices are displayed prominently in accordance with fuel pricing regulations.
Stakeholders and consumers have been encouraged to verify fuel price releases through ZERA’s official communication platforms, including its website and social media channels.
The latest review provides motorists, businesses and transport operators with guidance on fuel costs as the country continues to monitor developments in the global energy market.
