HARARE – Geo Pomona Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd has congratulated its Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman, Dr Dilesh Nguwaya, following his appointment as Special Advisor to President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Waste Management and Environmental Sustainability.

In a statement, the company described the appointment as recognition of Dr Nguwaya's leadership and contribution to transforming Zimbabwe's waste management sector through sustainable and innovative solutions.

Geo Pomona said that under Dr Nguwaya's leadership, the company has played a significant role in advancing modern waste management systems, promoting circular economy initiatives and strengthening environmental protection efforts.

The company also credited him with driving the re-establishment of waste collection services, championing resource recovery programmes and positioning Geo Pomona as a key player in environmental sustainability in Zimbabwe and the region.
